Overview

Led the product management and implementation of an automated chargeback submissions endpoint for Shopify clients, streamlining manual workflows and enhancing decision-making processes. By reducing labor-intensive tasks for clients and internal teams, the solution enabled automated chargeback analysis, improved data accuracy for machine learning models, and provided actionable insights to inform future decisions.

• Analyze manual workflows used by client teams and the internal success team to identify inefficiencies.

• Calculate the time and cost savings from automation for both clients and internal teams.

• Present the business case to leadership, highlighting the impact on decision-making, efficiency, and machine learning models.

Define the technical requirements and implementation roadmap for the chargeback automation system.

Implementation and adoption of the new endpoint resulted in the optimization of performance by providing models with the updated status of an order in a more accurate, speedier manner.

• Create detailed technical specifications to guide development, including system architecture and integration points with Shopify's platform.

• Collaborate with product, development, and partnerships teams to outline project milestones.

• Liaise with Shopify’s teams to ensure alignment and feasibility of the proposed solution.

• Roll out the endpoint to selected Shopify platform clients in a phased approach.

• Collaborated with analytics and other teams to monitor performance metrics such as reduction in manual processing time and decision accuracy.

• Conduct a post-implementation review to identify additional enhancements or scalability opportunities.
